Social Media Usage and Effect on Face to Face Interaction Among University Student

Social media has become a very famous and one of the interesting medium to communicate with people. As we know, social media has changed the way in which people communicate, and gives an effect on face-to-face interactions. This research study provides a descriptive analysis on social media tools, influence, and effect on face-to-face interaction among university students from Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM). The research has conducted by a quantitative method. This survey has conducted among 100 randomly students for collecting the primary data. This research conducted on the USIM students that use social media to communicate with people. At the same time, to know how the social media tools affected face-to-face interaction as well as finding out whether social media usage is reducing face-to-face interaction among them.
