About the Journal

Al-I’lam – Journal of Contemporary Islamic Communication and Media is published biannually (July and December) by USIM Press and managed by the Faculty of Leadership and Management. It is one of the cores that need to be embraced by academia, which promotes discourses and findings through the eruption of ideas based on research both empirically and conceptual. This journal wishes to gather knowledge of communication, media and new media that is Islamic-based, integration of a’qli and naqli from scholars worldwide. In line with the publication of the Islamic Communication journal in the Southeast Asian region, Al-I’lam is significant as a highlight of communication and media discourse, including human communication, organization, mass media, and new media.

FOCUS & SCOPE

Al-I’lam is inviting all scholars to submit papers for this edition. This journal is a platform for conceptual, philosophical and theoretical essays or debates, book or essay reviews relating to the communication directly or indirectly.
